Several weeks ago, we reported that a teen managed to rack up $8,000 in in-app purchases on the Xbox One while playing FIFA. So far we've seen companies like Apple and Google refund customers on accidental in-app purchases without a lot of fuss, and have since put safeguards into place to ensure that it doesn't happen as often anymore.
